Group Leader, Accounts Receivable

About the role

The Group Leader, Accounts Receivable will lead daily coordination of the AR function using an integrated financial management system, ensuring accurate processing, recording, and reconciliation of revenue in compliance with government policies.

Key responsibilities

• Organise workload, assign duties and meet deadlines for revenue processing, recording, reporting and reconciliation.
• Coordinate daily revenue balancing across all sales outlets and enter data into Sage 300 ERP and other AR systems.
• Reconcile bank deposits with statements and sales information, conduct cash‑handling audits, and prepare month‑end statements.
• Provide guidance on financial policies, AR procedures, and audit documentation; support implementation of automated technology solutions.
• Work with customers and business units to collect aged receivables and produce ad‑hoc reports.

Required profile

• Experience processing AR transactions in a high‑volume, computerized environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP, government regulations and bank reconciliation processes.
• Strong analytical, supervisory and communication skills.

Required skills

• Sage 300 ERP (or similar AR ERP system)
• Financial automation software and automated banking reconciliation tools
• Point‑of‑sale, online payment and online banking systems
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and reporting tools
