Ground Handler – Seasonal Aviation Support

About the role

Executive Aviation is seeking motivated individuals to join our North Bay Below the Wing team as Ground Handlers. This seasonal position supports airline operations at North Bay Airport (YYB) and offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow airline procedures and Transport Canada regulations.
• Drive and operate ground service equipment safely.
• Marshall and wing‑walk aircraft to gates.
• Sort, load, and unload guest baggage according to load plans.
• Transport baggage to claim areas and load onto conveyor systems.
• Service aircraft water and lavatories.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove it.
• Clean aircraft cabins, galleys, and lavatories and restock supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Shift Lead.

Required profile

• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel, and push/pull for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift up to 70 lb (32 kg) repeatedly.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to wear required safety gear (steel‑toe boots, reflective vest, hearing protection).
• Possession of a valid G‑class driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Eligibility for a Transport Canada Restricted Area pass and a clear criminal background check.
