Graduate Research Assistant – Social Resilience Study

About the role
We are seeking a Graduate Research Assistant to support a SSHRC‑funded project that investigates the hidden social, emotional, occupational and mental health consequences of resilience among immigrant workers in three Canadian provinces. The position is supervised by Dr. Charles Gyan at the School of Social Work, McGill University.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment of study participants across the three provinces.
- Collect quantitative data through surveys and manage the resulting datasets.
- Perform statistical analyses to examine research hypotheses.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary, interprovincial research team.
Required profile
- Current graduate student at McGill University.
- Fluent in French, English, or both.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
- Commitment of 10–12 hours per week to the project.
Required skills
- Strong quantitative research abilities.
- Experience with survey data management.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis.
