Global People Operations Specialist

About the role

Slice is looking for a Global People Operations Specialist to own and improve day‑to‑day HR processes for its growing workforce in the US and Canada. You will ensure accurate benefits administration, employee lifecycle management, and compliance while delivering a world‑class employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Administer benefits programs across the US and Canada and act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries.
• Manage leave of absence, workers’ compensation programs, and related communications.
• Own employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.
• Maintain compliance documentation, policy libraries, and regulatory requirements for assigned geographies.
• Partner with Payroll, Finance, IT, and People teams to ensure seamless employee experiences.
• Audit and maintain employee data quality across HR systems.
• Contribute to HR systems projects, process improvements, workflow documentation, and automation initiatives.
• Support employee requests through the ticketing system and uphold service‑level expectations.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in HR operations, people operations, benefits administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage benefits programs and respond to employee questions.
• Experience handling leave of absence, workers’ compensation, and employee communications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate compliance documentation.
• Proven collaboration skills with Payroll, Finance, IT, and People partners.
