Global Mobility Tax Associate

About the role

Vialto is seeking a Global Mobility Tax Associate to join its cross‑border tax team. You will work with multinational clients, providing personal income tax compliance and advisory services for Canadian and U.S. employees.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Canadian and/or U.S. personal income tax returns and related forms.
• Research tax issues and draft technical memoranda.
• Interact directly with clients to advise on tax matters linked to international employment.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high‑quality service and add value to client organisations.
• Apply critical thinking to structure and solve unstructured tax problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration/Management, International Business or a related field.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and experience in client‑facing roles.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments and learn quickly.

Required skills

• Experience with MS Excel.
• Familiarity with Alteryx or similar data‑analysis tools.

What we offer

• Hybrid work model with a minimum of two days per week in the office (Calgary, Toronto or Vancouver).
• Competitive salary range of $60,000‑$85,000 CAD per year.
• Exposure to global clients and complex cross‑border tax projects.
