About the role
The company is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily financial operations in its Calgary office. You will coordinate accounting activities, ensure accurate transaction processing, and support the finance team in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule events, programs, activities and work shifts for the accounting team.
- Train staff on duties, policies and use of accounting systems.
- Prepare, review and submit financial reports ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain smooth operation of accounting equipment and software.
- Coordinate, assign and review work, and requisition supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial processes.
Required profile
- College diploma or equivalent experience in accounting or finance.
- 1‑2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail, reliable and organized.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Team‑player with good judgement and flexibility.
