General Manager – Toronto Warehouse & Operations

About the role

Stone Tile International Inc. is seeking a General Manager to lead its Toronto warehouse and operations. This senior, fully onsite position oversees all aspects of the distribution centre, from inbound processing to order fulfillment and shipping, ensuring high service levels and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations across receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping and returns.
• Ensure daily service and productivity targets are met and adjust labor resources in real time based on volume.
• Maintain order accuracy, on‑time shipments, and strong customer responsiveness.
• Support and enforce inventory control processes, scanning compliance, cycle counting and discrepancy investigations.
• Coach, develop and evaluate supervisors and frontline staff to build a high‑performance culture.
• Manage labor planning, scheduling, overtime and workforce allocation while driving productivity improvements.
• Identify operational inefficiencies, implement process improvements and participate in layout and scaling projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a large distribution centre or warehouse environment.
• Hands‑on leadership style comfortable working from the floor.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to make real‑time decisions.
• Track record of driving accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
