General Manager – Goods Production, Utilities, Transportation & Construction

About the role

The General Manager will lead the goods production, utilities, transportation and construction divisions, ensuring operational excellence and strategic growth. This senior position reports to senior leadership and oversees multiple departments across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and senior staff positions.
• Coordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments and establish operational procedures.
• Set financial and administrative controls, approve promotional campaigns and overall HR planning.
• Define organizational objectives, policies and programs, and represent the company in negotiations.
• Select and delegate authority to middle managers, directors and executive staff.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with community service providers and oversee daily operations.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or equivalent 1‑2 year diploma, or comparable experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals or machinery production management.
• Budgetary responsibility for $1.5M‑$4M and supervision of more than 20 staff.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal awareness, leadership and team‑player mindset.
• Valid driver’s licence, willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
