General Laborer

About the role

Matrix Camps and Logistics is looking for reliable General Laborers to support the B2 Project in a 3‑weeks on / 3‑weeks off rotation. The role involves hands‑on outdoor work in cold, challenging conditions, focusing on safety and site preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate air compressors and use compressed‑air equipment to clean slopes and prepare surfaces.
• Shovel, rake and spread fly‑ash mix for liner installation.
• Remove snow from work areas, access points and around equipment.
• Drive light‑duty vehicles on‑site while following traffic and safety rules.
• Set up, position and fuel light plants, heaters and other temporary equipment.

Required profile

• Previous labour or construction experience is an asset.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to operate light‑duty vehicles.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as shovelling, lifting and working outdoors in cold weather.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to follow directions.

Required skills

• Operation of air compressors and compressed‑air tools.
• Driving light‑duty vehicles.
• Setup and fueling of light plants and heaters.
