About the role

We are looking for a reliable general farm worker to join our Ginseng farm during the harvesting season. The role involves a mix of planting, fertilising, spraying and harvesting tasks performed outdoors in a fast‑paced environment. Work will be performed on‑site at our farm located in Scotland, Ontario, and will require the use of personal protective equipment such as gloves and steel‑toed boots.

Key responsibilities

Apply fertilizers and spray crops according to schedule.
Plant, cultivate, irrigate and weed Ginseng fields.
Harvest mature crops and handle heavy loads.
Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, loaders and sprayers.

Required profile

Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.
Physically fit for bending, crouching, kneeling and lifting heavy equipment.
Attention to detail and reliable judgement.
Quick learner who can adapt to repetitive tasks.

Required skills

Operation of farm trucks.
Use of loaders and tractors.
Experience with fertilizer applicators.
Handling planting equipment, sprayers/dusters and tillage equipment.
