Full-time Trauma Physician – Level 3 Trauma Centre

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Trauma Physician to join the ARHCC Trauma Service within the Fraser Health Trauma Network. The physician will act as Trauma Team Lead/Consultant, manage trauma activations, and serve as the most responsible physician for admitted patients while on-call.

Key responsibilities

• Lead trauma team activations and provide expert consultation for trauma cases.
• Serve as the most responsible physician (MRP) for admitted trauma patients.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call schedule, approximately seven days every two months, with onsite daytime coverage and home call within a 30‑minute travel window.
• Collaborate with emergency physicians, surgeons, intensivists, anesthesiologists and allied health professionals.
• Contribute to the multidisciplinary team of nine trauma physicians at ARHCC.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or eligible physician in Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Trauma, or related specialties.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse medical team.
• Ability to fulfill on-call duties and lead trauma team activities.
• Eligibility to practice in Canada; US‑trained physicians are accepted.
