Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and maintain scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot and established software engineering practices.
- Build modern web applications with React, TypeScript, reusable components and accessible interactions.
- Develop and consume REST APIs with an API-first approach, maintaining OpenAPI/Swagger contracts and error handling.
- Contribute to modular, maintainable solutions using microservices and object-oriented and event-driven patterns.
- Use Node.js where appropriate for lightweight services, backend-for-frontend components, integrations or tooling.
- Optimize PostgreSQL data models and queries, and implement integrations via REST APIs, webhooks and messaging.
- Containerize applications and support cloud deployment, configuration management and environment consistency.
- Maintain Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and quality gates.
- Instrument applications with logging, metrics, tracing and error reporting, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Architecture and other engineers through design sessions, code reviews and planning.
Required profile
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience, including production applications.
- Hands-on Java and Spring experience, especially Spring Boot, REST services, persistence, security and automated testing.
- Frontend experience with Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, component-based design, state management and modern testing.
- Strong SQL skills and experience designing data models in PostgreSQL or comparable databases.
- Experience with cloud-based and containerized applications, and knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT and secure API design.
- Excellent communication skills, including technical documentation and client-facing workshops.
- Nice to have: WFM, CX or contact center experience, AWS, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, and CRM/HR/payroll integrations.
What we offer
- Health insurance, language courses and a relocation program.
- Remote work flexibility.
- Certification programs, mentorship, internal mobility and internship opportunities.
- A multicultural, inclusive team with regular social events.
