Fruit Farm Worker – Vineyard & Orchard Operations

About the role

Join Sekhon Family Vineyards in Osoyoos, BC as a Fruit Farm Worker, supporting organic fruit and vineyard operations. This permanent, full‑time position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced agricultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean greenhouse facilities and maintain a tidy work area.
• Manage vine growth, canopy training, and grape production.
• Mix and apply fertilizers and sprays according to program guidelines.
• Plant, cultivate, irrigate, and prune fruit and vine crops.
• Manually remove suckers and water sprouts, tie and secure plants.
• Train trees to improve fruit quality and yield.
• Harvest cherries, grapes, and other horticultural crops.
• Implement soil fertility programs and cut horticultural crops as needed.

Required profile

• Physical stamina for handling loads up to 23 kg, standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand‑eye coordination.
• Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, good judgment, and reliability.
• Team‑player attitude with a willingness to learn quickly.
