Frontend Developer – React, Node.js & TypeScript (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our team in Scarborough on a 12‑month contract. You will work on high‑performance eCommerce applications, leveraging React, Node.js and TypeScript within a Micro‑Frontend architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive front‑end components using React.js and TypeScript.
• Implement and evolve Micro‑Frontend patterns and integrate with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
• Write clean, testable code with JUnit and ensure robust error handling.
• Collaborate in Agile/DevOps environments, participating in pair programming and code reviews.
• Optimize performance and scalability of eCommerce applications.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional experience in front‑end development.
• Strong communication skills and proven problem‑solving ability.
• Domain experience in eCommerce, Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods is a plus.

What we offer
