Front Store Supervisor

About the role

The Front Store Supervisor leads the customer‑service team in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for shoppers. You will oversee cash handling, merchandising and loss‑prevention activities while supporting a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise cashiers and merchandisers, ensuring compliance with store policies and procedures.
• Train staff on job functions, provide ongoing guidance, and monitor performance.
• Manage daily cash office inventory, cashier tracking sheets and PC Optimum procedures.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve issues (refunds, exchanges) and promote the CSI Survey.
• Maintain clean, organized shelves with proper product rotation and set up/tear‑down of displays.
• Uphold store image, housekeeping standards and health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Perform clerical, banking and occasional cashier duties as needed.

Required profile

• Strong planning, judgement and decision‑making abilities.
• Independent thinker with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Organized with efficient time‑management.
• Computer literate and comfortable using store systems.
• Knowledge of pharmacy/retail products and supplies.
• Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts.
