Front End Supervisor – Brandon Food Store

About the role

The Front End Supervisor leads the checkout team at the Brandon Food Store, ensuring efficient checkout operations and a welcoming, member‑focused environment. This role combines staff supervision, cash handling oversight, and customer service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑end team members, assign duties, monitor performance and support training.
• Oversee cashiering standards, cash handling, till balancing, refunds, voids and related controls.
• Respond to customer inquiries, service issues and escalated concerns promptly and professionally.
• Prepare schedules, coordinate staffing levels and support store opening and closing routines.
• Maintain front‑end housekeeping, merchandising standards, promotional execution and safety compliance.

Required profile

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent; post‑secondary coursework in business or retail is an asset.
• 2‑3 years of progressively responsible retail experience, including cash handling and customer service.
• Previous experience leading, coaching or scheduling staff in a grocery or retail environment is preferred.
• Full availability for rotating open/closing shifts, including weekends.
