Food Service Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Food Service Supervisor to join Denny's in Quesnel. In this position you will lead a team that prepares, portions, and serves meals while upholding the brand’s standards for quality and safety. The role combines hands‑on supervision with planning, reporting and customer service responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
• Hire, schedule and establish work rosters for food service personnel.
• Ensure food and service meet quality control and health‑regulation standards.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Prepare and submit operational reports to management.
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys to service stations.
• Monitor compliance with sanitation and safety protocols throughout the shift.

Required profile

• College or CEGEP education.
• 1 to less than 2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
• Ability to manage a team of 5‑15 employees.
• Availability for early‑morning, evening, shift, day and weekend work, with overtime as required.
• Strong organizational ability to keep accurate records and schedules.
