About the role
Sheshu's Sizzling Tandoor Inc is looking for a Food Service Supervisor to lead the daily operations of its kitchen and dining area in Grande Prairie, AB. You will ensure food quality, safety, and efficient service while managing a small team of staff. The role involves maintaining hygiene standards and collaborating with management on menu planning.
Key responsibilities
- Establish work schedules and methods to meet service demands.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies and control inventory.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of 1‑2 staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train employees on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Monitor food quality and service standards to ensure compliance.
- Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and regular reports.
- Address customer complaints and resolve concerns promptly.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience in food service.
- Ability to supervise a team of 1‑2 people.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, shifts, mornings, days, weekends and overtime.
