Food Service Counter Attendant

About the role

Join Tim Hortons as a Food Service Counter Attendant in St. John’s. You will work in a fast‑paced environment serving customers, preparing simple food items and maintaining a clean dining area.

Key responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables, trays, chairs and kitchen work surfaces.
• Replenish condiments, stock refrigerators, salad bars and serving areas.
• Take customer orders, operate the electronic cash register and serve at the counter.
• Prepare, heat, portion, wrap and package food items.
• Maintain records of food usage and handle cleaning products safely.
• Sweep, mop and polish floors, and perform routine kitchen sanitation.

Required profile

• Client‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Reliable team player able to multitask under pressure.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 23 kg.
• Positive attitude and initiative in a repetitive, fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Experience with a conventional oven.
• Proficiency using an electronic cash register.
• Familiarity with food dispensers.
• Ability to operate a grill.
