Food Production Machine Operator

About the role

Fresh Prep is seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join its food‑production team. You will work in a temperature‑controlled environment to help prepare, portion, and package meal‑kit components according to strict recipes and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Operate in a production area maintained between 0 °C and 10 °C.
• Prepare, portion, and package food products following established specifications.
• Set up, run, and maintain portioning and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
• Follow food safety, quality assurance, and workplace health‑and‑safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete end‑of‑shift sanitation tasks.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lb, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience operating production equipment in food manufacturing, food production, or a similar environment.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting.
• Comfortable working in a temperature‑controlled space (0 °C‑10 °C).
• Physically capable of standing for 8–10 hour shifts and safely lifting up to 50 lb (23 kg).
