Food Counter Attendant (Full-time)

About the role

Join the Subway team in Red Deer as a Food Counter Attendant, working in a fast‑paced restaurant environment. You will be responsible for delivering clean, safe, and tasty food to customers while maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, dishes, and kitchen areas.
• Prepare, heat, portion, and wrap simple food items.
• Take customer orders, package take‑out meals, and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and storage areas with supplies.
• Receive, unpack, and store deliveries in appropriate locations.
• Handle waste removal, garbage disposal, and kitchen trash.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, trays, chairs, and dining area.
• Sharpen kitchen knives and perform routine floor care (sweep, mop, polish).

Required profile

• Team player with the ability to multitask in a high‑pressure environment.
• Willingness to learn on the job; no prior experience required.
• Comfortable working in a repetitive, fast‑paced setting.
• Positive attitude and readiness to follow safety and sanitation protocols.
