Food & Beverage Processing Supervisor

About the role

The company is seeking a Food & Beverage Processing Supervisor to lead a team of 50‑100 workers in a fast‑paced, noisy production environment. The role focuses on safety, quality, and efficient operations while ensuring compliance with Canadian food regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Minimize hazards throughout all stages of food production.
• Train staff on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Recommend hiring, promotions, and other personnel actions.
• Prepare production and performance reports.
• Identify and implement measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule work activities, aligning them with other units.
• Requisition materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Oversee process control and machine operators, ensuring compliance with standards.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work onsite in a noisy, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent oral communication, sound judgement, teamwork, and reliability.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance.
• Quality assurance and control expertise.
• Process control fundamentals.
• Occupational Health and Safety certification.
