Flight Test Specialist – Engineering

About the role

Airbus Canada is seeking a Flight Test Specialist to join the A220 commercial aircraft program at the Mirabel test centre. You will work closely with the Test & Analysis team to plan, execute, and analyse flight test campaigns that validate aircraft system performance and certification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical test plans and coordinate all pre‑flight preparation activities.
• Support the execution of flight tests, ensuring safety, data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Analyse flight test data, generate reports and provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Collaborate with the Airbus test centre in Toulouse and other internal stakeholders.
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of test processes.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in aeronautical or aerospace engineering.
• Passion for aircraft flight‑test activities and system validation.
• Ability to work autonomously and within cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus).
