Finishing Site Superintendent

About the role

The Finishing Site Superintendent will lead on‑site finishing activities for construction projects in Toronto, ensuring high‑quality results and timely delivery. This permanent position reports to the project management team and works closely with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades on‑site, maintaining quality standards and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to keep projects on budget and on time.
• Conduct regular safety and quality inspections, addressing any non‑compliance promptly.
• Resolve on‑site issues and challenges efficiently.
• Manage material deliveries, inventory, and ensure availability for project needs.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, and communicate updates to the project management team.
• Mentor and guide team members to uphold performance and productivity standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction finishing projects, preferably mixed‑use or multi‑tower developments.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
