Financial Crimes Technology Manager

About the role

PwC's Financial Crime Technology practice, operating under Forensic Services, helps banks, credit unions and other institutions detect and prevent financial crimes by extracting insights from large volumes of data. As a Financial Crimes Technology Manager in Toronto, you will work in a team of problem solvers, delivering high-quality client service and operational efficiency. The role is newly created and sits within the Fraud, Investigations & Regulatory Enforcement (FIRE) line of service.

Key responsibilities

• Support client assignments and take part in client-facing activities
• Build the analytical approach and work steps for each assignment
• Work with clients to identify and resolve complex issues
• Generate insights and formulate solutions based on facts and data
• Write reports, develop conclusions and recommendations, assist in client presentations and provide implementation support
• Keep up to date with industry trends and engage in business development to protect the PwC brand
• Coach junior staff and help them grow their financial crime technology knowledge

Required profile

• Experience with SDLC, requirement gathering, data mapping, ETL, data quality, data lineage, issue management and change management
• Hands-on development or implementation experience with financial crime technology solutions
• Hybrid work environment; exact expectations discussed with the interviewer

Required skills

• Strong SQL, T-SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Python, R and database technologies
• Nice to have: Neo4j, D3 and Node.js frameworks
• Experience with Oracle Financial Crime and Compliance Management (FCCM), Actimize, Fiserv, SAS, PRM, FircoSoft name and payment screening and similar solutions

The salary range is $87,700 - $137,700, and eligible employees may join variable incentive pay programs. The role is not open to work visa sponsorship.
