Financial Analyst

About the role

Sapling Financial Consultants Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its consulting team in North York. You will work on financial risk evaluation, economic outlooks and support contract and tender processes while contributing to renewable‑resource projects.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate financial risk and prepare analytical reports, briefings and correspondence.
• Analyze investment projects, assist in operating and investment budgeting, and forecast cash flows.
• Develop risk‑management plans, conduct variance analysis and propose process improvements.
• Build financial models and provide advice on managerial methods and organizational structures.
• Prepare reports and plans for the management of renewable resources and support operational re‑organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or consulting.
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Strong attention to detail, client focus and ability to work under pressure.
