Financial Analyst – Finance Operations

About the role

As a Finance Operations partner, you will support month‑end closing, group reporting and drive productivity, savings and CAPEX initiatives across Danone Canada’s operations. You will ensure data integrity, continuously improve finance templates and processes, and assist the Finance Operations Senior Manager with forecasts, estimates and projections.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Management Team in estimating and reporting productivity initiatives.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of Iproview (savings reporting) and Orsoft (master data) as the Ops finance representative.
• Contribute to month‑end closing: accrual bookings, variance analysis and consolidation of operational results for the Americas organization.
• Support forecasting cycles, prepare cost bridges and conduct COGS/kg analysis.
• Provide financial support for CAPEX management.
• Maintain, enhance and develop reporting and analytical tools used for Finance Operations decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant financial analysis experience.
• CPA designation or progress toward it is an asset.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Power BI is an asset.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, complex formulas) with ability to manipulate large data sets.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• High level of autonomy, rigor and methodological approach.
• Bilingual English/French is an asset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
