SAP FICO Specialist – Finance Lead

About the role

Accenture is looking for a seasoned SAP Finance Senior Lead to provide functional leadership for SAP FICO and SAP S/4HANA finance workstreams. The role involves designing, implementing, testing, and supporting finance solutions for clients across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead functional activities for SAP Finance workstreams across design, realization, testing, go‑live and post‑go‑live support.
• Facilitate fit‑to‑standard and fit‑gap workshops with business stakeholders to define finance solution approaches.
• Provide expertise across SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, PCA, CO‑PA) and SAP Banking processes.
• Support integration of SAP Finance with external systems (banking, payment, tax, treasury, procurement, payroll) using APIs, web services and SAP Integration Suite.
• Maintain awareness of SAP innovations (S/4HANA, BTP, Fiori, embedded analytics) and assess their relevance to client solutions.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end testing activities, including SIT, UAT, regression testing and defect management.
• Guide configuration, functional specifications, RICEFW development and quality activities while managing risks and dependencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college program.
• 4+ years of SAP FICO implementation experience, including at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition project.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and ability to lead configuration workshops.
• Experience working with cloud platform teams.
• Fluent English; French is an asset.
