Financial Administrator – Finance Clerk

About the role

The Financial Administrator supports the Accounting and Reporting team by handling a range of financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and service billing. Working under the Team Leader, you will maintain project budgets, process transactions, and assist with year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and process accounts payable data.
• Maintain project budgets and allocate expenditures according to client‑partner instructions.
• Compile high‑risk claim documentation for review.
• Respond to inquiries about financial processes such as billing and invoices.
• Prepare and issue monthly service billing invoices.
• Prepare and distribute monthly return‑of‑funds reports.
• Assist with year‑end closing activities.
• Coordinate direct deposit requests and manage vendor set‑up and changes.
• Provide support to colleagues on contract financial administration, payroll service billing, and accounts receivable.

Required profile

• College diploma in accounting or a related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant financial or accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform repetitive data entry with high precision and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to financial policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard computer software and operating systems used in finance.
