Financial Accountant – Business Market Close Manager

About the role

Bell is looking for a motivated Financial Accountant to join the Business Market Financial Close Controller team. The role will help transform the financial close function, ensuring accurate and timely results while supporting the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the centralisation and optimisation of the financial results close process.
• Partner with business‑unit stakeholders to understand operations and analyse financial results.
• Manage risks, provisions and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
• Prepare, review and approve month‑end transactional processes, journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the control environment, meet audit requirements and document SOX controls.
• Lead special projects and provide guidance on new transactions, processes and accounting standards.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and work with technology teams to implement efficiencies.
• Analyse and present financial information to support decision‑making.
• Oversee end‑to‑end accounting review for revenue contracts, including accounting implications and memo documentation.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree (e.g., Bachelor’s in accounting, finance or related field).
