Finance Administrator (Burlington, Ontario)

About the role

Chesterton Canada is seeking a Finance Administrator to support all financial management activities for its Burlington location. You will ensure compliance with local accounting standards, assist with cost accounting, payroll, tax reporting, and provide analytical support to sales and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial closings, analysis, and reporting in line with AWC Finance requirements and both local and U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain cost accounting data, validate product standard costs, and analyze manufacturing cost variances.
• Assist in the creation and monitoring of annual operational budgets.
• Document and implement financial procedures for Canada operations.
• Maintain data integrity of the ERP and related Windows‑based systems, providing training and procedural documentation as needed.
• Collaborate closely with purchasing, manufacturing, and other operational functions.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes with the Finance Manager – NA and prepare internal audit documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in finance or equivalent work experience.
• 0‑2 years of experience in finance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of managerial and financial accounting processes.
• Ability to deliver timely financial reporting and close cycles.
• Effective communication with multiple internal disciplines across Canada and the U.S.
