Field Technician

About the role

Leavitt Machinery is seeking a mechanically‑inclined Field Technician to join its Service team in Regina, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will travel to customer sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of material‑handling equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment and lift trucks.
• Conduct safety inspections and complete required documentation, including work orders and warranty paperwork.
• Communicate job details and progress with customers, the Service Dispatcher, and the Parts department.
• Order and prepare necessary parts before each site visit.
• Report any safety incidents promptly and adhere to all safety policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of heavy‑equipment or automotive repair experience.
• Provincial Heavy‑Duty or Automotive Journeyperson’s ticket, or a Red Seal Trade Certification.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within the region.
