Family Practitioner / General Practitioner – Aldergrove Clinic

About the role

The Aldergrove clinic is seeking a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to join a dynamic team of 12 young physicians. The role offers a blend of outpatient care, occasional inpatient duties, and the flexibility to manage walk‑in clinic hours at your own pace, including virtual consultations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting.
• Participate in part‑time inpatient care as needed.
• Manage walk‑in clinic schedules and virtual appointments independently.
• Collaborate with the after‑hours coverage program and the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the clinic’s EMR systems.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a valid license to practice family medicine in Canada.
• Experience in primary care, preferably in a group practice environment.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Interest in building a personal practice within a supportive clinic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oscar EMR.
• Proficiency with Juno EMR.
• Experience using Cortico for virtual care.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted clinical tools.
