Family Physician – Bilingual Position in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes

About the role

Southern Health‑Santé Sud is recruiting two bilingual Family Physicians to join the Notre‑Dame‑de‑Lourdes Health Centre and its affiliated clinics. The physicians will be based primarily in Notre‑Dame‑de‑Lourdes and will serve the surrounding communities of St. Claude, Manitou, Somerset and Swan Lake.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary‑care services to the local population.
• Deliver inpatient acute care, share emergency‑department duties and participate in on‑call rotations with a multidisciplinary physician team.
• Offer low‑acuity, off‑site support for TCU patients in neighbouring communities.
• Provide long‑term‑care and after‑hours support for personal‑care homes within the assigned area.
• Act as a preceptor for learners in the CTU when appropriate.

Required profile

• Medical degree and current licence to practice family medicine in Canada.
• Fluency in both English and French.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to cover on‑call and after‑hours duties.
