Family Law Legal Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Legal Assistant to join our law establishment in Toronto. You will provide essential administrative and financial support to our family law team, ensuring smooth case management and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an organized filing system for all family law matters.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and related documentation.
• Draft, key‑in, and manage correspondence and legal documents.
• Utilize PCLaw in the Cloud, Divorcemate, and other legal software to support case workflows.
• Operate dictaphone equipment for accurate transcription of client interviews and court proceedings.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm or similar legal environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
