Family Doctor – Primary Care Physician

About the role

We are seeking a Family Doctor to join our private practice at Dunmed Clinic in Vancouver. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care to individuals and families, promoting health, preventing disease, and managing acute and chronic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Examine patients to diagnose diseases and injuries.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
• Provide counseling on healthy habits, lifestyle changes, and disease prevention.
• Coordinate primary patient care and acute care management.
• Participate in institutional committees, health policy planning, and community health initiatives.
• Administer vaccinations and inoculations.
• Advise and advocate for patients, including support for newcomers and refugees.

Required profile

• Degree in medicine (or related fields such as dentistry, veterinary medicine, optometry).
• 1–2 years of clinical experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail.
• Personal qualities: accuracy, dependability, initiative, organization, reliability.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, or day shifts as needed.
