Family Child Care Provider – Live‑in Option

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Family Child Care Provider to join a household in Toronto. The role includes caring for children, light housekeeping, and optional live‑in accommodation. Flexible hours and on‑the‑job training are offered.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household duties in the parents' absence.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
• Travel with the family and assist with child supervision during trips.
• Discipline children according to parents' guidelines.
• Teach personal hygiene and support social development.
• Maintain a safe, healthy home environment.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Attend to children’s emotional well‑being.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of child‑care experience.
• Ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lb) weight.
• Reliable, patient, honest, and organized.
• Client‑focused with strong time‑management skills.
