Family Child Care Provider – Full‑time

About the role

This full‑time position provides in‑home childcare for a family in Gatineau. You will be responsible for the daily care, safety, and development of infants and children while supporting the household in the parents' absence.

Key responsibilities

• Change diapers, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Organize games, outings, and educational activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy home environment.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and ironing.
• Assist with toilet training and personal hygiene instruction.
• Record daily activities, health information, and child progress.
• Travel with the family on trips, providing supervision and housekeeping support.
• Discipline children according to parents' guidelines and support emotional well‑being.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of experience in family or home‑based childcare.
• Certification in Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR.
• IELTS proficiency test (English language).
• Ability to handle loads up to 13.5 kg and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Clear criminal record, vulnerable sector check, and references required.
