Experienced Bricklayer – Construction Projects

About the role

A&A Masonry is seeking an experienced bricklayer to join its team in Etobicoke. The role involves working on residential and commercial projects, delivering high‑quality masonry work while adhering to safety standards. You will collaborate with site crews to ensure timely completion of all tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, and other masonry units for walls, patios, chimneys, and decorative installations.
• Read sketches and blueprints to calculate material requirements and produce accurate tenders and quotations.
• Cut and trim bricks and blocks using hand and power tools to meet project specifications.
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, including industrial chimney shells and refractory linings.
• Restore, clean, and paint existing masonry structures as needed.

Required profile

• Physically demanding work with ability to handle heavy loads, stand for long periods, and work in crouched positions.
• Accurate, reliable, client‑focused team player with at least 5 years of bricklaying experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for masonry work.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches and blueprints.
• Material and equipment estimation for masonry projects.
• Cutting and trimming bricks or concrete blocks to specification.
