Executive Search Consultant (Calgary)

About the role

Odgers is seeking a Consultant to join its Calgary office and support the national executive search practice. The role offers exposure to a broad range of private and public sector clients across Canada and provides a pathway for career growth within a collaborative, high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Support Practice Partners and client organisations in delivering search mandates, including strategy development, industry research, candidate outreach, assessment and reporting.
• Develop and evaluate candidate pipelines while building strong relationships with both candidates and clients.
• Contribute to business development by supporting client relationship building and identifying new opportunities.

Required profile

• University or college graduate (or equivalent experience) with at least 5 years of experience in recruitment or broader human‑capital services.
• Executive‑search experience is a strong asset.
• Self‑starter capable of managing multiple projects independently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen, detail‑oriented and professional presentation.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills, with an ability to read non‑verbal cues.
• Motivation to build a long‑term career in executive search and future client‑development responsibilities.
