Executive Director (Youth Centre)

About the role
The Turning Point Youth Centre is looking for a passionate, faith‑driven Executive Director to guide the organization into its next chapter. This senior leader will shape strategy, oversee daily operations, and ensure the centre’s vision is realized for the benefit of local youth.
Key responsibilities
- Engage directly with youth, connect them to community resources, and enforce centre policies.
- Represent the centre at churches, inter‑agency meetings, and community events; manage partnerships and donor communications.
- Oversee financial management including budgeting, bookkeeping, payroll, and quarterly reporting using QuickBooks and donation software.
- Lead fundraising initiatives, write grants, and secure ongoing donor support.
- Supervise staff and volunteers, handle HR matters, and maintain the centre’s website and social media channels.
Required profile
- Strong commitment to the centre’s faith‑based mission and youth development.
- Proven leadership experience in a nonprofit or community‑service setting.
- Excellent communication and networking abilities with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated financial stewardship and fundraising success.
Required skills
- QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.

- Competitive salary ranging from $48,000 to $60,000 CAD, based on experience.
