Executive Director

About the role

The Executive Director provides strategic and day‑to‑day leadership for the Langley Community Health & Hospital Foundation, ensuring the community has the resources needed to meet health and wellness priorities. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the role is accountable for fundraising results, community presence, and long‑term sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Foundation’s lead ambassador, building relationships with donors, business leaders, service clubs, and community partners.
• Oversee all fundraising programs, translate health needs into fundable priorities, and lead major and capital campaigns.
• Personally cultivate and steward major, leadership, and campaign donors, ensuring clear impact reporting.
• Partner with the Board Chair and Directors to support governance, board engagement, and recruitment.
• Advocate for hospital and community health priorities with municipal and provincial officials.
• Collaborate closely with Fraser Health and hospital leadership to align community health initiatives.
• Manage financial operations, compliance, and transparent reporting.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in nonprofit or health‑care fundraising.
• Strong track record of building and stewarding donor relationships.
• Excellent communication and public‑speaking abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work with boards and senior stakeholders.
• Commitment to the mission of improving community health.
