Event Staff for Calgary Sports & Entertainment

About the role

As an Event Staff member you will ensure a smooth parking experience for attendees of sports and entertainment events in Calgary. You will interact directly with customers, handle payments, and keep the parking area safe and orderly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with payment methods and parking entry/exit procedures.
• Handle irate customers and resolve issues within site policies.
• Process tickets, collect cash or POS payments, and record passes in the logbook.
• Prepare shift reports, sort tickets and manage bank deposits.
• Identify and report equipment deficiencies or safety concerns.
• Perform litter pick‑up, shoveling and salting as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking site.
• Control cash and front‑line revenues, ensuring accurate record‑keeping.
• Log all incidents and communicate them to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to follow written procedures.
• Willingness to wear a uniform and present a professional appearance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Good communication skills for face‑to‑face interactions.
