Ethnic Food Cook

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Ethnic Food Cook to join our kitchen team in Brampton. The role focuses on preparing authentic East Indian dishes for our restaurant guests. This is a full‑time, permanent position offering a dynamic environment for culinary professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan menus and accurately estimate food quantities required for each service.
• Prepare and cook complete meals as well as individual dishes, ensuring authentic East Indian flavors.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas regularly to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and reorder as needed.
• Clean kitchen workstations, equipment, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness.
• Organise buffets and banquet setups, coordinating timing and presentation.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school graduation certificate.
• Three to five years of professional cooking experience, preferably in East Indian cuisine.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
