Cook – Full-time Permanent Position

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our restaurant team in Brampton. This permanent, full‑time role involves preparing high‑quality vegetarian meals, supporting special events, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate special events and determine portion sizes and costs.
• Plan menus, estimate food requirements, and requisition supplies.
• Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and meals for customers with allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and safety.
• Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe handling.
• Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory records, and manage kitchen stock.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, recruit and hire new team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to health and safety standards.
