Environmental Planner

About the role

LGL Limited is seeking an Intermediate Environmental Planner to join its multidisciplinary team in Ontario. You will support ecological consulting services for private and public sector clients, focusing on transportation, transit, and other infrastructure projects across the province.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in environmental assessment and planning assignments from early concept through detailed design and construction.
• Collaborate with technical specialists, project managers, and Indigenous partners to develop compliant project plans.
• Prepare reports, impact assessments, and mitigation strategies for infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions and client deliverables.

Required profile

• Intermediate level experience in environmental planning, preferably within transportation or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of Ontario environmental regulations and assessment processes.
• Ability to work effectively in hybrid work settings and multidisciplinary teams.
