About the role
This 4‑month summer internship (Summer 2027) with BASF’s Agronomic Excellence team offers hands‑on experience in field research across Western Canada. Interns will work on‑site in Strathmore, AB or Winnipeg, MB, supporting the evaluation of canola hybrids, seed technology and agronomic practices.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct field trials to assess canola hybrid performance and related agronomic practices.
- Assist with all phases of the crop cycle, from land preparation and planting to pest control, plot maintenance and harvest.
- Monitor and record data from research plots, supporting analysis of crop performance.
- Collaborate with the Agronomic Excellence team, regional experts and casual staff.
Required profile
- Availability for a full‑time, 4‑month summer internship in 2027.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Strathmore, AB or Winnipeg, MB.
