Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator – Public Health & Environmental Safety

About the role

Opsens Inc is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to support public health and environmental safety initiatives across its manufacturing facilities. The role involves delivering training, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information and training to employers, employees, and the public on health and safety matters.
• Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards, including medical devices and hazardous product storage.
• Investigate workplace accidents, illnesses, and related incidents.
• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety plans.
• Ensure all operations comply with applicable health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in occupational health and safety.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (and French if required).
• Ability to work in an office setting within an urban industrial environment.
