Entry-Level Controller – Manufacturing Finance

About the role

Saica Pack US is looking for a motivated entry‑level Controller to join its corrugated packaging plant in Hamilton, Ohio. You will support the plant’s financial operations, work closely with production and corporate teams, and develop the skills needed for long‑term financial leadership in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and managing plant budgets and financial forecasts.
• Support monthly close activities, financial reporting, and P&L analysis.
• Analyze cost trends related to labor, production, scrap, overtime, and operational expenses.
• Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure SAP data integrity.
• Partner with operational leaders to identify cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities.
• Prepare management reports and KPI summaries for plant leadership.
• Participate in inventory tracking, cycle‑count reconciliation, and audit activities.
• Learn and apply Saica’s financial procedures, reporting standards, and operational philosophy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of budgeting, AP/AR, financial reporting, and P&L analysis.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, coachability, and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
