Business Operations Associate – Waterloo/Toronto

About the role

Cambio is a software platform driving real‑estate decarbonization, helping commercial owners and tenants achieve net‑zero through a machine‑learning‑powered sustainability solution. As a fast‑growing startup backed by Y Combinator, Google and the U.S. Department of Energy, we are looking for a Business Operations Associate to strengthen our finance, operations and strategy functions.

Key responsibilities

• Finance & Rev Ops: lead financial modeling, budgeting, market sizing, pricing experiments, AR collections, AP invoice processing, payroll‑adjacent tasks and HubSpot RevOps dashboard maintenance.
• BizOps & People Ops: generate analytical insights, manage vendors and contracts, coordinate cross‑functional projects, own IT provisioning runbooks, drive ISO 27001/SOC 2 compliance evidence collection, run performance reviews, and support hiring logistics.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in a high‑growth environment or top‑tier consulting (MBB, Big 4, or fast‑moving startup).
• Highly analytical, comfortable building models and frameworks, execution‑oriented, and able to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving settings.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• SQL proficiency or willingness to learn; experience with HubSpot is a plus.

What we offer

• Salary range: 95‑115 k CAD per year.
• Hybrid work model with two days onsite in Waterloo or Toronto.
